What's New Down on the Farm?

** The Modern Pioneer is going to become a course (non credit) at Mount Wachusett Community College - The Gardner, Leominster and Devins campus.  www.mwcc.edu to sign up!

Learn how over come the need to work to have more, to want what you have not have what you want. Take those first steps to freedom from clutter, material and captialism as well as how to raise your children to leave a smaller carbon foot print.  Learn how to clean with all natural items such as cider vinnegar, salt and baking soda.  Hands on creation of aromatherapy oils and other home remedies that will help you live closer to nature and be a healthier you!

Ongoing: Laugh Club
Laugh Club has moved its days to Tuesdays and Thursday at 10.  We will be meeting inside at the farm, so its rain or shine !  It is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the company of others laughers!  Laughter has been shown to lower blood pressure, increase endorphins and that lowers pain and sadness!  So come on down to the funny farm!  Email to let us know you are coming.

OPENING DAY  APRIL 25, 2009          

Head to the farm for opening day! See the new store,  purchase your seedlings for the garden. Participate in workshops on alternative energy to learn about government incentives to going solar.  Listen to some great acoustic music from Folk, to Bluegrass and contemporary music.  Win some great prizes in our first raffle to benefit the Sugar Hollow Farm Wetlands Perserve and Educational Reserve.
